Q&A with Charlotte
What month is your baby due?
August 2024
Do you have other children?
I have a 12-year-old son named Jaiden.
What activities do you enjoy doing with your children?
We enjoy watching movies, traveling and going on road trips, reading, and doing arts and crafts projects.
Healthy Moms make Happy Babies, so what does being healthy mean to you? What are some of the things you do to take care of yourself and maintain or improve your health?
Healthy means taking care of yourself, because when you are taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually, your baby feels that too. Some of the things I do include self-care at home, relaxing, mediating, and simply doing the things I enjoy.
What is one wish/hope you have for your baby and/or child(ren)?
One hope that I have is for my children to know that I love them dearly and that we are all humans and make mistakes. At the end of the day, I will do all in my power to be the best I can for them.
Why did you want to join the Black Infant Health Program? What do you hope to gain from the program or what have you gained already?
I joined Black Infant Health to learn more about our community. To interact and learn not just about myself and my pregnancy journey but other mothers like me as well. I enjoy learning and this program has been amazing.
