Ruben Barrales is President and Chief Executive Officer for GROW Elect. He is a former Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs to the White House and also worked as President and CEO of Joint Venture: Silicon Valley Network, a group of high-tech CEOs, academics leaders and elected officials supporting innovation and technology, friendly public policy and education reform. In 1992, Mr. Barrales became the first Latino to be elected to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors and he was the Republican nominee for State Controller in 1998.
