The past two years have been a whirlwind of emotions. With the whole world shut down with uncertainty, people did not know where to turn, especially pregnant mothers. The Black Infant Health program continued to shed a beam of light and hope to continue to spread love and support to African American mothers throughout San Diego County. In March of 2022, Black Infant Health hosted their first in-person celebration so that women could connect, spread love and create and build upon their social circle. There were games, gifts, food, and lots of laughter.
As the world continues to slowly open back up, Black Infant Health will continue to be that beam of light, hope, and strength that our women and babies need.
