The student-athletes at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) came together to bring joy to a dozen NHA families this holiday season. UCSD and NHA have partnered to put on the Adopt-a-Family event for years, creating an annual gift donation event that pairs NHA families with sports teams from UCSD. The collegiate sports teams buy presents and food items for NHA families in need, providing wrapped gifts for children and their families to take home and enjoy for the holiday season. For families who are not able to buy their family members and children gifts this year, the holidays are a little brighter. We are thankful to the Athletic Department at UCSD for their partnership, and their commitment to NHA families each year. Adopt-a-Family 2014 was a huge success, and we are looking forward to continuing this tradition of giving next year!
